A coupe days in the oppressive heat and humidity of the Elephant Coast, where we toured the wetlands and the iMfolozi Game Preserve, where Shaka used to hunt. |
| The Wild Coast |
A drive through the Wild Coast, formerly the internationally unrecognized Republic of Transkei, a region that lags economically due to decades of neglect from the South Africa government. Now, we felt we had finally discovered Africa. |
| Addo and Grahamstown |
Sightseeing in Addo, South Africa, where we traveled to see the Addo Elephant National Park. After seeing the wildlife, we drove to Grahamstown to spend the night and soak int he college town atmosphere. |
