Vermont

I dropped Suzanne in Vermont for the summer and returned home today, taking as many back roads as I could to make the trip last.

This morning we explored Acadia National Park in Maine, then headed back to New Hampshire and made it to Saxtons River, Vermont so Suzanne could start her summer stock theater gig.

We visited the Battle of Bennington memorial, a 300-foot obelisk and the tallest structure in Vermont, then drove north in New York to Saratoga, then onto the White Mountains in New Hampshire.

We left NYC and headed into upstate New York on the back roads. We made it to southern Vermont and set up camp outside Bennington.
