McGraw-Hill Building

The old McGraw-Hill building on 42 Street on the west side remains venerated among architecture critics as a worthy specimen of Art Deco and Modern & Post Modern style. This was shot in the evening, so you cannot see the blue-green terracotta-tiled façade, but it is pleasantly unusual. Unfortunately, now, it’s almost hidden among the skyscrapers that have sprung from this part of Hell’s Kitchen.

The McGraw-Hill building... well, the old one at least. Built in the 1930s on 42 Street, it's an art-deco, international style mashup. It's facade is a deep green color.
