Rubin Museum of Art
It was too cold today to roam the wind-chilled streets of Manhattan, so we decided to go to the Rubin Museum of Art. I had several reasons for going: I’ve never visited the Himalayan art museum since they opened a few years ago; my work, the Digital Universe, is showing in an exhibit in the form of The Known Universe movie that we produced, and… it’s warm inside.

The Vajravarahi is a diety who helps Buddhists uproot their ego. This is symbolized by the sow's head (pigs uproot food).

The impressive banister at the Rubin Museum is reminiscent of art deco. I could not find a seam the entire way to the top floor. At the top, the artist signed and dated the bottom railing.

Yama, judge of the dead.

A bit odd to have these questions on the floor.
